Account Deletion
At BOTFAY, you have full control over your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of your account and all associated data from our systems.
This applies to all BOTFAY users, including those who accessed the platform via our iOS or Android app.
What Gets Deleted
- Your user account (email, name, and profile information)
- All connected messenger account credentials and tokens
- All message history from your connected channels
- Your Knowledge Base content and AI training data
- Any AI agent configurations associated with your account
- Billing and usage records (where not required by law)
What May Be Retained
- Transaction records required by financial/tax law (up to 7 years, encrypted)
- Security logs required for fraud prevention (up to 90 days)
- Anonymized aggregated analytics that cannot be linked to you personally
How to Request Deletion

In the App (Recommended)
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your request will be processed
automatically.

Via Email
Send a request to privacy@botfay.com with subject
"Data Deletion Request" and your registered email address.

We Confirm & Process
We verify your identity and confirm within 5 business days. Full deletion completed within 30
days.
Timeline
- Confirmation: within 5 business days
- Full deletion: within 30 calendar days
- Backup purge: within 90 days
Right to Appeal
If you believe your deletion request was not handled correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your country.
